Moretele Local Municipality is set to receive support in its quest to achieve a clean audit, thanks to a new initiative launched in partnership with the South African Local Government Association (SALGA), COGTA and the Provincial Treasury.
The “Clean Audit Initiative” project aims to provide guidance and support to municipalities in improving their financial management and governance practices.
A launch event for the project will be held at the Municipal Hall on April 24, 2025, where municipal management and other stakeholders will gather to discuss strategies for achieving clean audits.
The initiative is expected to provide Moretele Local Municipality with the necessary tools and expertise to improve its financial management and governance practices, ultimately leading to a clean audit.
