Moretele Local Municipality Hosts Matric Pre-Exam Prayer Day

Moretele Local Municipality successfully hosted a Matric Pre-Exam Prayer Day today at the Mathibestad Moretele Local Municipality main hall.

The event was spearheaded by:

• Office of the Mayor, led by His Worship Hon. Masango George Manyike
• Community Development Services Department, led by Director Granny Temba
• Moretele Local Education Office (LEO), led by Mr. Kedikilwe
• Moretele Organized Pastors Fraternal
• Office of the District Director, led by Director

All high schools were well represented, with learners, educators, and community members in attendance.

• The Hon. Mayor encouraged learners to stay focused on their studies and to commit their minds to the examination ahead.
  He underscored the importance of focus and perseverance in achieving academic success.
• Learners pledged to be faithful and honest during examinations, upholding integrity as they approach assessments.
• The Mayor reaffirmed the Office’s support for learners, noting that the municipality is committed to helping them access higher education.
  He announced that his Office provides a study grant program to assist eligible students in pursuing tertiary studies, ensuring there are no financial excuses hindering their university aspirations.

The municipality commends all partners and participants for their collaboration in preparing learners for a successful matriculant journey.
