Mayor Cllr Masango George Manyike attended the 2025 National Senior Certificate (NSC) Matric results announcement delivered by MEC for Education Ntsetsao Viola Motsumi today at Rutanang Primary Enrichment Centre in Rustenburg.

The event, hosted by the North West Department of Education, celebrated academic excellence as outstanding matriculants were recognised for their hard work and dedication. The Province achieved an impressive 4th position nationally, with a notable improvement in performance from 87.52% in 2024 to 88.49% in the 2025 matric results — a 0.9% increase.

As the Back-To-School campaign gets underway, Mayor Masango George Manyike will tomorrow morning, Wednesday, 14 January 2026, monitor the readiness of Thipe Primary School and Nchaupe High School in Makapanstad, Moretele Local Municipality, to commence with the 2026 school.
